Chanel Pour Monsieur, EDT, Men, Identifying the vintage

Hello fragrance fam!
Today were talking about Chanel Pour Monsieur. A classic citrus forward eau de cologne style scent released in 1955.
Note: older formulations of this fragrance do have better longevity than modern iterations, but it's still not a beast by any means. You'll get Maybe six hours of wear if your lucky.
-In reference to vintage formulations, the original first formula of this fragrance was titled "A gentleman's cologne". It's missing the bright citrus top Monsieur is known for, and more of a woody fragrance.
-Around the late 60's it was renamed "Chanel for Men" and that version smells very close to what the formula is well known for today. That version has an amazing natural musky dry down, with bright aldehydes in the top.
-Sometime in the early 80's it became titled "EAU Pour Monsieur", I believe thats the transition bottle from "cologne" to "eau de cologne".
-In roughly 1989 it was retitled "Pour Monsieur and sold in an EDC "cologne formulation.
-All previously mentioned versions, I would consider good, full bodied vintage scents.
I believe roughly around 2004 when they made the scent into an EDT, and the ingredient list on the box became longer, is when it lost a little bit of its classic magic, but that's just my opinion.
Hope this helps, enjoy the Journey!
