Angel EDP, Thierry Mugler, Identifying the vintage batches
Vintage DecantsIdentify and explain:
Hello fragrance fam!
On today's episode of Identifying the vintage, were covering an legendary fruity patchouli scent by the name of Angel for women EDP by Mugler!
The original version of this fragrance is a beast in terms of silage!
1. Any version that has "Thierry Mugler" written on the batch sticker will generally be a good vintage batch. They started using synthetic patchouli in the middle of 2016, and changed the name to just "Mugler" on the sticker afterwards.
2. The new reformulated liquid is now blue. This is due to the removal of raw materials that were used in the original formulas. If you want an older batch, you wanna look for bottles that have a champagne, sometimes dark brown colored liquid. It may look like the fragrance has turned from having a dark brown color, but natural patchouli can make the liquid very dark and still smell perfect. Bottles produced from 2011-2016 may have a slightly greenish liquid, they were reformulated as well, but I would consider them still good.
3. Generally the darker the liquid the older and more concentrated the formula will be for this perfume.
In my opinion, any version that has the logo "Thierry Mugler", and not "Mugler" typed on the bottles sticker will be a good batch. If you cant see the logo, any version produced by Nueilly, or any version with green or brown colored liquid are all good versions!
*Hope this helps and enjoy the Journey!
