My name is John, and I've been a fan of perfumery since I was a kid wearing Giorgio Beverly Hills Red for men to middle school in the 90's. 

Have you ever thought your fragrance used to smell different, or last longer? That's because it's been reformulated! The longer a fragrance is in production, the more likely it is to have had underwent ingredient changes. You need to search for an older batch if you want the original recipe of what the perfumer had first created. 

The first thing most people think about older perfumes, is that they've all expired. I can tell you with confidence, if the liquid inside wasn't exposed to excess oxygen or changes in temperature, the same formula can stay intact for decades! 

However, despite all it's glory, vintage perfume was always difficult and expensive to pursue due to not being able to sample before buying. That was the problem that has led me to create VintageDecants.com! An online store designed for collectors, but simplified enough for the average consumer.
