Hello fragrance fam!

My name is John, and like you, I'm also an avid fan of fragrance. In speaking from a professional stand point, I come from a family of artists and as an artist myself I'll note we live in a world where constant evolution is needed. The new reality for artists, is that A.I. greatly changed the want and demand for original artworks. That was the catalyst needed to ignite another avenue I've always had passion for, fragrance!

In my early years of collecting I would trade and sell bottles through third-party websites like eBay or Mercari. This was a great learning experience in terms of figuring out the best methods for both shipping and decanting. However, the problems I always encountered as a collector was the lack of transparency about batch variations and being able to sample vintage or discontinued fragrance. I felt compelled to help bridge the gap, not only to offer samples but to also help people learn about reformulations while presenting a website that was as easy to use, as it is informational. After much hard work and dedication, in early 2025 was finally when Vintagedecants.com was born!

A majority of our inventory we use are from fragrances that are discontinued and out of production. We should note It's impossible to buy officially from the brand in this case. We source from a network of  private collectors and third party sellers. Identifying the bottle based off of the extensive research we do before making a full purchase. We base our authenticity from a combination of quality, appearance, batch information and box. Every scent is tested for quality before it is put in the store.
