Eros EDT, Versace, Reformulation Guide

Hello fragrance fam! On today's reformulation guide were covering Eros EDT by Versace.

These are approximate timelines, make sure to compare the descriptions, in conjunction with a batch code checker website to date your bottles.
*I personally consider the first edition batches superior due to a stronger presence of oakmoss giving the fragrance a better well rounded aroma but that's just my opinion.

1.Pre-2016- in these versions the liquid will usually be a green hue, due to a higher presence of oakmoss.
2.2017-2019: batches I've read are ok as well. After 2019 they added the text "eau de toilette" to the front of the bottle. There may have been a batch variation inbetween. 2019-2022.
3. Post-2022: the batch codes are currently white on these versions.
*The good news is, in 2023/2025. Many brands have reformulated their pre-existing formulas, further adapting to the use of modern synthetic ingredients. A majority of feedback I've read after these reworks have been mostly positive. Cheers to the future!
