Gucci Pour Homme ll, Reformulation Guide
Vintage DecantsIdentify and explain:
Hello fragrance fam!
On today's reformulation guide, were covering Gucci Pour Homme II. Pour Homme is an easy-to-wear tea-based scent, released when Tom Ford was the creative director at Gucci.
I believe there were three reformulations of PH II. My years are a close approximation, make sure to compare your bottles with the descriptions to help date your bottles.
*The first and second batches are very similar with the first having slightly better longevity. The third version I've read is not as desirable, as the first two.
- Pre-2010 The first edition is easy to spot, the liquid is going to have a slightly green color. This is because they used trace natural ingredients in this formula, like oakmoss. The batch sticker is clear.
- 2010-2016 Some of the trace natural ingredients were isolated after a reform. This batch will be a slightly cloudy blue color. It will have a clear code batch sticker. (Our current bottle, which we have on our site is pictured)
- Post-2016 they reformulated some fixatives from the original formula. This batch is a very deep blue color, with a white batch sticker.
Hope this helps and enjoy the Journey!
