Is vintage fragrance safe?

Vintage Decants

Myths facts and Opinions:

Yes! I personally use Vintage fragrance every day. An older scent can age like fine wine in most cases. In fact, most collectors agree perfume gets better with age.

Vintage perfumery isn't toxic, fragrance doesn't expire within a timeline. It expires if the ingredients have become corrupted, resulting in a "turned" (spoiled) fragrance. A majority of people will never experience symptoms from perfume, however vintage perfumery is known for having oakmoss within the formula, a known allergen. When using any fragrance regardless if It's modern or vintage, it's recommended to do a test spray on skin and wait 24 hours before widespread usage.
