I define "deep vintage" as fragrances that were produced before the year 2004 (when long ingredient lists started to first appear on boxes). This was a period new IFRA standards changed the use of raw materials that were allowed in perfumes from 0.6 to a 0.1% cap. It was a very noticable mass reformulation and greatly affected perfumes with "classic style" formulas. You can read more about perfume reformulations in our "vintage-blogs".
