Hello, fragrance fam! In today's Hidden Gem blog, we feature an amazing flanker called Nirvana Black EDP. The house of Elizabeth & James is a brand founded in 2007 by the famous "full-house" siblings Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. In 2013, they launched a line of high-quality fragrances that were mainly sold at Sephora until the line was fully discontinued in 2018.

Black EDP is an incredible woody-oriental fragrance that has gained a cult following for that reason. It contains notes of violet, sandalwood, and vanilla. Upon first spray, it opens with a slightly powdery, floral sweetness that quickly shifts into a dark, sugary sandalwood heart. I consider it 100% unisex, with similarities to other fragrances like 1998's Bvlgari Black or Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef & Arpels.
