Chanel Egoiste Cologne Concentree, is an aromatic, spicy, woody fragrance. It opens with a bright, slightly sharp burst of mandarin and coriander that quickly gives way to rich rosewood and mahogany, that then settles into a dense, warm heart of cinnamon, carnation, and damask rose. The dry-down is creamy and enveloping, dominated by plush sandalwood with supporting notes of vanilla, tobacco, amber, and a smooth leather edge, creating a syrupy, spicy-woody aura that feels richer, warmer, and more intense than the original formulation of  Égoïste EDT.
