Drakkar Pour Homme EDT 1981 Batch, Men Perfume Sample
Fragrance Description:
Guy Laroche Drakkar Pour Homme EDT, is a bright and intensely herbal green aromatic citrus chypre that smells sharply of natural lavender, lemon verbena, and sharp green galbanum in the opening. It's complex heart blends crisp pine needles, aromatic juniper, and warm wormwood with a spicy kick of coriander and cinnamon, all resting on an earthy base of rich oakmoss, leather, vetiver, and cedar. It dries down to a light base of green herbs. Compared to its famous flanker (Drakkar Noir), the original Drakkar is much drier, earthier, and herbal without the heavy soapy-sweetness of the later Noir version. If your a fan of classic Eau De Cologne style fragrances like Capucci Pour Homme or Eau Sauvage, you'll love Drakkar Classic.

Identifying the vintage: Generally I don't believe this fragrance was ever reformulated heavily. However first editions were 90 volume, later changed to 85.
