It opens with a bright, aromatic burst of lavender and bergamot that feels clean and slightly herbal, almost tobacco-like, before softening into a powdery floral heart of orange blossom, rose, and lily-of-the-valley. Many people perceive a distinctive cherry-almond or soapy and sweet pipe-tobacco effect here (even though neither is an actual note), created by the interplay of those florals with roasted tonka, patchouli, oakmoss, and musk.
