KENZO Pour Homme EDT, this is a first edition formula, that has a stronger note of ambergris in the formula, that was later removed after the bottle style changed. It opens with a bracing, mineral blast of sea notes and ozonic iodine, given a dark, woody backbone by a unique mahogany note. The heart reveals a blend of pine needles, juniper berries, and sage, creating a green, windswept freshness that feels incredibly atmospheric and "blue-green." It dries down into a smooth, earthy base of oakmoss, sandalwood, and cedar, leaving a trail that smells like sea spray on driftwood and damp evergreen needles.
