Moshino Toy Boy EDP, is a subversive, "gothic" take on the masculine floral, famously centering on a dark, peppery rose. It opens with a sharp, punchy blast of pink pepper, green pear, and resinous elemi, which quickly gives way to its star note: a cold, "metallic" rose that smells more like the green stems and thorns than a sweet garden flower. This floral heart is toughened up by a heavy dose of clove and nutmeg, drying down into a sleek, synthetic base of Haitian vetiver, cashmeran, and dry woods.
