Old Spice Cologne, opens with a spicy and soapy burst of star anise, orange, and aldehydes, immediately followed by a heart of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The Shulton vintage versions are famous for the a creamy, "animalic" dry down of ambergris, benzoin, and frankincense. It smells like hot spiced cider, clean shaving soap, and warm musk — it's dense, powdery, and comforting with a distinctive "clove-heavy" punch.
