RALPH LAUREN Safari for Women EDT, is a majestic "green-chypre" that captures the essence of dry, sun-drenched grasses and old-world elegance. It opens with galbanum and bitter marigold, softened by the airy sweetness of mandarin and hyacinth. The heart is a dense, honeyed floral bouquet of narcissus, iris, and rose, which eventually settles into a warm, sophisticated base of vetiver, oakmoss, and amber. This early formula contains oris root in the formula that gives it a slightly powdered aroma. Later versions produced after 2006 by "Luxury Products" changed to a more citric scent profile.
