YVES SAINT LAURENT Opium Pour Homme EDT, smells like a cool, spiced vanilla with a balsamic edge. It opens with an unusual, sharp contrast of tart blackcurrant and licorice-like star anise. As it settles, a spicy heart of Sichuan pepper and galangal gives way to a dry-down of creamy Bourbon vanilla, cedar, and smoky Tolu balsam.
