This was the version released in the mid 80s when it was renamed "Pour Monsieur". It's original launch in 1955 was previously named "A Gentleman's Cologne". This version features the lemon top note that's not as present in the deep vintage versions,. It carries subtle basil notes, and a dry down reminiscent of vintage lavender. It is a classic eau de cologne style. This scent has a great longevity of 8 hours.
